Hi,
I updated to Linux kernel 3.12.7 (core/linux 3.12.7-2 (base)) and after a reboot the touchpad does not work anymore (also the buttons beneath the touchpad do not work).
Some terminal outputs:

[EDIT]: Downgrading to Linux 3.12.6 did not resolve the issue and the touchpad hardware is not recognized at all. So this seems to be a hardware problem.
[EDIT2]: Even though the device is not mentioned in the hardware lists, the touchpad works in a tty (using GPM) and with an older Linux installation. So it seems to be an Xorg 1.15 issue. Do you have any ideas how to resolve this?
[EDIT3]: Apparently I had xf86-input-synaptics-git installed, which was not rebuilt for Xorg 1.15. Replacing it with standard xf86-input-synaptics made the touchpad working again.
