Hello this is my first post on the forum.
even though i have been using AL for a year but i think i did not need the forum because of that FANTASTIC wiki!
well to get to the point of it as some of you know minecraft does not normaly use the gpu
but with the help of NVIDIA X server settings it can with application profiles but i have no idea how to use them
if anyone can help it would be appreciated

Well, there's three assumptions here:
- you have an optimus intel / gpu hybrid
- have bumblebee / bbswitch installed
- minecraft is actually just called minecraft and nothing else
If you have a non hybrid, you'll have to wait for someone to help you
. Or try /r/archlinux, or /r/linuxfornoobs if no one answers here. People can be smuggy here if you don't post a lot of information.

I had the same problem before when I loaded Cinnamon and it was because I didn't install xf86-input-mouse. I'm assuming you're on Cinnamon or one of these DEs that include nvidia-utils / nvidia x server settings. Usually they tell you in the error message to use nvidia-xconfig or install xf86-input-mouse. Post your system specifications and uname -a and try to confirm how to run minecraft from the command line. Is it just minecraft?

core i54670k
ram teamvulcan dual channel ddr3 1600 mhz
ssd samsung 840 pro
1tb WD hard drive
msi gtx 760
corsair h90

i dont understand this: "try to confirm how to run minecraft from the command line. Is it just minecraft"
do u mean how to run from terminal? if so just go to the folder location like "cd /home/username/minecraft/" then do "java -jar Minecraft.jar"
the uname -a "Linux arch 3.12.7-2-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun Jan 12 13:09:09 CET 2014 x86_64 GNU/Linux"

No because you're in a desktop and you don't have an optimus intel / nvidia gpu.
Try reinstalling the nvidia driver.

Try dkms or the beta version from AUR.

i think u dont understand my question my nvida driver works perfectly fine and so does minecraft
my question was how to accelerate minecraft with the gpu see minecraft is not seen as a game by the computer so by default it uses intels intigrated graphics not my dedicated card
i this is what i want just in linux: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5fljD3QaRc

I understand, play with nvidia-settings and edit RenderAccel.
That is all the help I'm able to give you.
