I just installed Arch on an old desktop with a GeForce 6200 in it. I have a multihead setup where the left monitor is rotated. The command that gets me there is something like this:
xrandr --output DVI-D-0 --auto --left-of VGA-0 --rotate left --output VGA-0 --primaryWhen rotated, graphics rendering on that screen is noticeably slower than on the non-rotated monitor. I mean, I can watch Xorg's CPU usage go higher as soon as the mouse enters that screen. For what it's worth, this worked without issue on my laptop's NVIDIA card, which I think was a 440M or something (circa 2009). Am I just screwed 'cause this is an old card, or is there something else going on here?
