Just logged in and noticed at the bottom of the main forum page which has some brief stats, it reports (at the time of writing) that there is exactly 5000 users registered on these forums alone!
When I started using Arch less than 12 months ago, the counter hadn't reached 2000. ~150% growth in forums users in the last year is some pretty good growth.
Way to go AL!

Yeah, I've been watching it, too, and that is good growth. I'd like to see the community get bigger, and yet it's kind of nice that it's not too big. I may be wrong, but I'm thinking the atmosphere around here wouldn't be all that good if we had 500,000, or perhaps even just 50,000.

You can get a lot of stats from the member list e.g. sort by number of posts, ascending - there are a lot of registered users who have never posted, and some of them have never even visited. If you could sort by date of last visit, that would tell you a lot too.

Been using arch for nearly a year and was mainly viewing as a guest and registered when I wanted to vote for some packages. I'm sure my little contribution will improve when I cannot find the answers anymore and need to ask questions instead.
