How to enable pacman coloured output?

pacman has a color option in the pacman.conf file, but I can't find it in the file. There is no "color" or "colour" word in the file, How can I enable coloured output of pacman (and maybe pacaur/packer)?

It's there in the default pacman.conf. Either you deleted it or you never merged a .pacnew file.
