Problems auto-connecting a Wiimote

Hi guys. I setting up a XBMC HTPC at my living room and I decided to give it a try on using a wiimote to control it. I have made sure that I have installed the latest versions of all needed packages. Following the instructions of the XWiimote wiki article, I got to pair and connect my Wiimote succesfully. However, if I turn off the Wiimote (by pulling batteries off), or shutdown/reboot my computer, the Wiimote disconnects itself of the computer (obviously) and doesn't reconnect again when I press any button (but that would be the expected behavior).

A systemctl status bluetooth command outputs this

Fev 06 03:59:11 mediabox bluetoothd[209]: Authentication attempt without agent
Fev 06 03:59:11 mediabox bluetoothd[209]: Access denied: org.bluez.Error.Rejected

If I go through all the process of manually pairing and connecting again, it works fine. I wish, though, to make the auto-connect works so my family can use the wiimote to control our HTPC (they wouldn't know how to do all this manually every time).

Any thoughts that can help me?

I have the same problem. Running the newest bluez and successfully using xwiimote and everything. Is your Wii-mote the RVL-CNT-01-TR? Maybe that's why.

(I know this thread is a year old, but I really want this issue fixed and it's obviously still a valid problem.)
