So it says you have to install Ace Stream player. So I installed the package from AUR but the firefox plugin still does not detect it. Any ideas?

Alright, I was able to get it working by downloading the deb for the plugin and extracting it into my root folder. Like so:
wget http://repo.acestream.org/ubuntu/pool/m … _amd64.deb
sudo 7z x acestream-mozilla-plugin_2.1.6-1raring2_amd64.deb -o /
Someone really should create a package for the plugin.

There is already a package, because you linked it. If the PKGBUILD doesn't work to install the plugin then you are supposed to flag it out of date (which was done about 3 day's ago) and post the solution to fixing the PKGBUILD at the AUR page for the package.
Also I don't see how simply extracting the contents into your root folder makes the plugin work.
