Scroll Lock on X

Ok... I just bought a new keyboard, it has a backlight so I can type in the dark, but, to turn the light on I have to press the Scroll Lock key... if I do that on the console the light turns on, but I cant see a thing because the scroll lock prevents the text from showing up...i fixed that using setleds to turn the led on. But on X the scroll lock key just doesn't do anything...  the led doesn't even turn on... I tried using a program called xsetleds, which does the same thing as setleds, but it didn't turn on the led... anyone has any idea of how to enable the ScrollLock key?

Re: Scroll Lock on X

Perhaps you have accidentally mis-set the number of keys on the keyboard in xorg.conf?

Option "XkbModel" "pc102" //Try changing this number to 104 or 105
