Argon - gui package manager + update notifier (incl AUR)
Argon provides a minimalist (python gtk+) GUI interface to basic package management (install/remove/update), as well as a configurable update notifier. Intended for those who prefer GUI management, but nothing too heavy. Check it out at Google Code and the AUR.

gnome-terminal dependency dropped, Argon is now cross-desktop-environment.

Argon now writes its notifications to a file, allowing them to be used by environments without popups (see dwm screenshots and code).

Love the minimalist approach. Is there a way to select which terminal application to use? (I manily use terminator)
