[SOLVED] GStreamer-CRITICAL

Whenever I want to play a song in Banshee, I get this error:

GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_element_query: assertion 'GST_IS_ELEMENT (element)' failed

with both flac and mp3 files.

I have no problems with Totem and VLC.

Sorry, I was too fast on asking this question.
I installed all gstreamer0.10-* packages like
gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg
gstreamer0.10-good
gstreamer0.10-good-plugins
gstreamer0.10-python
gstreamer0.10-ugly
gstreamer0.10-ugly-plugins

I don't know which one solved the problem, but installing more packages won't hurt.
I found the solution in this thread.

basically you need appropriate gstreamer plugin for decoding media files.

installing gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg, -good-plugins and -ugly-plugins, would provide support for at least most common audio and video file types.
all of the above are actually listed as optional dependencies for banshee
