PyPanel system tray

I just installed PekWM and PyPanel. When i try running amaroK it doesn't show up in the PyPanel system tray. Neither did Kopete. Aren't these KDE applications compatible with PyPanel? Or is there some kind of trick?

Re: PyPanel system tray

I used pypanel a few months ago, and the amarok tray icon did display in pypanel; I assume you've configured pypanel correctly so that it definitely displays the system tray? It's in the section of pypanel.rc referring to regions, if I recall correctly...

Re: PyPanel system tray

I guess you refer to "sections". The system tray is enabled... Strange.

EDIT: I went to Settings -> Configure Amarok -> and disabled tray icon and then enabled it. Then a tray icon showed up in a separate window.

I'm assuming it's a PekWM issue then; similarly in ratpoison the icon displays in its own window.

Ok. I don't think i can spend anymore time on this problem. I guess i'll have to wait for a pekwm update.

Thanks!
