problem with boot / new install system ond SSD

Hi guys,

I have fresh installed system on my new SSD. I use my old HDD as external usb drive.
I have problem with boot when I dont have connected HDD to usb.
My system boot only to console no to KDE. When I connect external HDD to usb and reboot system, system boot normally.

Sorry to bump this, but I'm having the exact same error tonight on my HTPC, any chance you found out what the problem was ?
To make matters worse, it's not happening every single time, but maybe every 4 out of 5 boots (same kernel, no changes in between.)

I've tried adding atkbd and psmouse to my mkinitcpio.conf MODULES section and rebuilt, but no change.

I changed the NVidia driver from nvidia-304xx to nvidia-full-beta-all ( 334.21 ) from AUR but it had the same error at the same place.

I'm seeing this in my logs but everything still works....except for the fact that my laptop seems to be seriously slower than it was prior to me noticing this. Not sure if the performance regression is related or not. Anyone ever figure out what's causing this?

I haven't noticed any performance issues. It seemed like audio was disabled from time to time, but that may or may not have been related.

It seems to happen only when I have my USB mouse connected to my laptop. System is working otherwise, but KDM doesn't show up immediatly (I have to restart it).

According to https://lkml.org/lkml/2014/3/31/283 the fix is already in 3.14. It will probably end up into 3.13-stable as well, whichever comes first to Arch.
