No sound in Firefox with USB soundcard

Hi, I'm encountering this problem after I removed pulseaudio in order to use only alsa. As I can see with 'cat /proc/asound/cards', USB soundcard is set as default. Other applications like mpv or mocp run perfectly.  That's my /etc/asound.conf. Ask if you need any further detail, thanks

Re: No sound in Firefox with USB soundcard

If you are still looking for an answer, one issue could be softvol plugin, which needs to have exactly the same parameters on input and output. Yes, plug usually takes care of this, nevertheless omit softvol and see if it works. You could setup default alsa device via an environment variable and check every pcm device signal goes through running firefox in a terminal with different variables. Why do dmixer and dsnooper have a sampling rate of 50 kHz? What kind of hardware uses that? Also using period_size and period_time is redundant.
