Can't connect to Eduroam after kernel upgrade to 3.13.6-1 using wicd

After a recent upgrade, I am unable to connect to Eduroam (at University of Waterloo, if that's relevant) using wicd. It "stops" after "putting interface up" step.

The kernel logs also show some crash: http://sprunge.us/IGPB

The wicd profile I am using for Eduroam: http://sprunge.us/GPIN

Any ideas? Any help is appreciated smile Thanks!

Re: Can't connect to Eduroam after kernel upgrade to 3.13.6-1 using wicd

First thing I would do is to try to connect manually with wpa_supplicant and dhcpcd/dhclient. If it works, that will take those tools out of the possible sources of problems.

If things work you might want to report this issue to the bug tracker of wicd. You can also try other network management tools, that I can think of you have connman, netclt and networkmanager.
