[SOLVED]Default Kernel, Journalctl, Suspend, Certain Programs

<Begin Edit>

So everything resolved itself or I was able to resolve myself and I ponied up and RTF(journalctl)M. Still not sure about gpointing-device-settings, but I rarely ever use that program, so I probably will let it be until I'm bored and have some free time.

<End Edit>

As the title states I have some serious system borkage going on. For one, only the linux-ck kernel will boot. The vanilla Arch kernel hangs at initiliazing bluetooth. The second is that journalctl has recorded anything since January 25th. Here is the end of the log <http://paste.debian.net/87971/> . Suspen,  too, is having problems. That is, my computer usually freezes if it's been in suspend for more than an hour. Finally, certain programs are crashing, such as gpointing-device-settings.

~ ❯❯❯ gpointing-device-settings
An X error occurred. The error was BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter).
An X error occurred. The error was BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter).
[2]    8966 segmentation fault (core dumped)  gpointing-device-settings

The problems have kind of come incrementally. Any ideas for how to get back to a functional system? Will be happy to answer any questions.

Re: [SOLVED]Default Kernel, Journalctl, Suspend, Certain Programs

After an update, the new Arch vanilla kernel is booting. Will leave my computer in suspend overnight to see if it still freezes. That and the journalctl seem to be the two big, remaining problems.

As a side note, the vanilla kernel boots faster and seems much more responsive than the linux-ck-haswell. I guess the benefits it offers are probably only for some systems.
