Acer S3 wont power off or reboot

Hey guys,

I am running Arch on my laptop w/o trouble for 2 years now, but with the last update, I can not reboot or power off the laptop. The screen become black with _ in the left corner and it stays that way until I do a hard reboot/power off. I let it stay that way for 15 min, nothing happend.
I found nothing in the logs, I downgraded my kernel to 3.13.7, but had the same problem.

I was playing with ulatencyd before this happen. I disabled it, it did not resolve my problem.

Some information about my system .

uname -a

Linux TARDIS 3.13.8-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Apr 1 12:19:51 CEST 2014 x86_64 GNU/Linux

systemctl --version

systemd 212

Is this Arch Linux? Did you build your own Kernel? What boot manager/loader are you using (Gummiboot, REFInd, GRUB)? Are you UEFI or BIOS/MBR booting?

Hello, yes it is Archlinux. I did not build my own kernel, I am using grub with this boot parameter :

BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-linux root=UUID=cb0e92f4-df07-4222-a326-d380e679350b ro pcie_aspm=force i915.i915_enable_rc6=1 acpi_osi=Linux acpi_backlight=vendor ath9k.ps_enable=1 

And it is a BIOS/MBR booting.
