[SOLVED]Silently fail in Firefox Apps install on desktop?

Apps like SoundCloud on Firefox Marketplace can be installed on a desktop since Firefox 16.

The process simply adds a .desktop file and a ".http;someapp" folder. I've tried using I3 wm and Openbox, and setting xdg_config, but even saying "app installed" there's no success. No .dektop no folder. Instead, under Xubuntu the process runs ok.

Someone had success with I3, Openbox or another WM/DE using Archlinux?

Thanks

Just install the Firefox Simulator. See [1], [2] or [3].

I've managed to install Soundcloud, it worked okay. I'm using i3, and it is a good idea to make the app run on floating mode.

Edit: It is Firefox 16, not 26.

I don't have the simulator on Xubuntu and the process runs ok. I've taken two screenshots

What is your point then? Have I answered your question? If so, please mark the topic as solved.

Notice that the desktop icon is created under ~/.local/share/applications.

Re: [SOLVED]Silently fail in Firefox Apps install on desktop?

I click to install and says "Installed", but nothing happens.

No desktop icon on ~/.local/share/applications ... well, no applications folder. I was missing something...  I've created this folder and now I can install apps from firefox marketplace.

Thank you.
