Cert from someone else then StartCom

Hi,

I just recently revoked my trust in certificates that have been issued by StartCom because of their terrible politics regarding revocation, which might encourage people to keep certificates that could have been vulnerable through heartbleed. Then I realized that ArchWiki has their certificates issued by StartCom which forced my to make an exception.
Would it maybe make sense for ArchWiki to get a cert from another CA? I just imagine that the intersection set of tech savy people who do not trust StartCom anymore and those that would like to access the ArchWiki is not exactly negligible.

Just an idea, I would like to throw in here.

Here is some Info on the StartCom topic: http://www.techdirt.com/articles/201404 … leed.shtml

Cheers!

Max

Maybe rethink your decision. Realistically none of the CAs can be trusted. And if you have a look at the CA list in your browser you'll find several that are likely state controlled etc..
