Hi,
as some might know there are problems with some (newer) Elantech Touchpad/Trackpoints where the Trackpoint is not recognized by the system.
It seems there if an not yet official patch to resolve this issue https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … comments/8 Since I am not an expert user and don't know how to build my own kernel including such a patch I post here in the hope that someone with more knowledge might set up an easy to use AUR build! I can't judge the quality of the patch but it seems to be working for the people who commented on it on launchpad.
