attchments saved to desktop not shown on desktop (solved)

If I save mail attchments to the desktop they are not shown. I have to open home, desktop to see them. If I try to move them out to the main desktop I get a message saying they already exist.    :?:

PS i'm using KDE 3.5

After the latest update they now appear on the desk top.

hee, first question: which windows manager do you use (KDE/GNOME or...)?

edit :mmm just to late, well sorry i ain't an kde user so i think i can't help you...

Pressing on F5 would or would not show the icons?
