Tagging podcasts using Gpodder's tagging plugin.

I've been using this plugin to tag my podcasts, but was wondering if anyone could help me edit the script to also fill in the Artist field on the tags.   Here is the script:

Even if it just uses the Album info and duplicated it in the Artist field, that would be fine, I'm just not sure how to get this to work.  I've tried a few things, but I just don't know python well enough.
