Laptop Touchpad not found

Hi,
my touchpad is not working sad.
I followed the classical Getting Started Tutorials from the Wiki (pretty nice by the way)
and installed cinnamon (used Linux Mint before arch and I liked it).
I found a bugreport for the same laptop series on Launchpad for ubuntu:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … ug/1290517

my Logs and other analytic stuff:
xinput -list

Re: Laptop Touchpad not found

It could help if you told  the brand and model of your laptop and touchpad.

Re: Laptop Touchpad not found

uhm, sure.

Laptop:
Brand: ASUS
Series: R751L
or Asus X750

Touchpad:
ASUS PS/2 Port Clickpad
Windows (8) says its hardware id is ACPI\ETD0108
some vendors mentioned it is 'multitouch' ...

I am going to check the PS/2 Port more, but later (I guess tomorrow).

Re: Laptop Touchpad not found

You can looking for the Touchpad information in the Windows driver. I'm using K450LD and the touchpad is not working because it's FocalTech touchpad. I can't and you can't find any information about it because it's newest company in the market.
Here is some discusion about FocalTech Touchpad
