I just want to ask people who use Radeons with Xorg 7,0 (without ATI propertiary driver!).
Do you have XVideo working correctly?
If you don't know - just start mplayer or xine (they by default use "xv"), on my system I see just empty window.
I wonder are there people without that problem. I want to find what may be the reason, looks like it is not very common bug.

As I mentioned in the Xorg7&fglrx thread, I have this problem with Xorg 7 and XVideo as well. However, I _AM_ using the proprietary drivers.
When using xv, all I see is a big screen 'o' green.
-=edit=- Oh, that's weird... I had this problem when I first installed Xorg 7, so I naturally switched to a different renderer (OpenGL) so that I could watch my vids. When I tried just now with xv again, everything worked fine. Try as I might, I can't reproduce the damn thing, and don't know how it fixed itself (or I fixed it, or whatever) -=/edit=-

No problems here with Radeon IGP 320M, although as I posted in another thread I still have no direct rendering

Works OK with my 9200se using e.g. "mplayer -vo xv movie.mpg". I'm using "radeon" in xorg.conf,

Cerebral are you sure that you were using ATI propertiary drivers all the time? Maybe you had this problem with DRI only? Could you send me your current xorg.conf?
PS. just recompiled drivers/xf86-video-ati from CVS - nothing changed, still no Xvideo

Hm... well, when I was getting my proprietary drivers set up properly for Xorg7, there was a small period I used 'radeon' just to make sure I'd properly set it all up before tweaking the PKGBUILD for ati-drivers.
Now that you mention it, it may have been during that time that I had the problems with video, and once I got fglrx installed, it may have went away...
If you still want my current xorg.conf, then I'll send it.

I've created bug report, then found solution.
If you can - you may try my oneline patch.
