Hi,
I've a fully updated Arch_64/XFCE AMD/ATI based laptop, using the free, xorg ati video driver, connected (with a high quality HDMI cable) to an external large FULL HD LCD TV.
The TV spec confirm it supports, among others, 1920x1080 @ 60 Hz (both 1080p & 1080i).
Arch recognized the TV (as "ADMI-0"), yet won't provide FULL HD resolution.
I've followed the xrandr Wiki, yet somehow fail to add a new mode due to "-hsnc error: - see below.
Please advise!
BTW (maybe this is related): Initially, I've managed to add that mode but it has been added to VGA-0. Yet, when I try to run"xrandr --delmode --VGA-0 1920..." it states it doesn't recognize the output.
Thnaks!
