Got a new SSD for my laptop (Samsung RC512) and put Arch on it. Installed Arch a number of times now but usually as dual-boot Windows pre-installed computers.
I partitioned it as GPT with /dev/sda1 FAT32 512mb bios_grub and followed the BIOS setup for grub.
When I boot it, after BIOS splash it displays the error message "reboot and select proper boot device."
Oddly enough if I enter recovery mode from BIOS splash screen, it goes to grub and I can start Arch fine. (Pretty easy workaround but annoys me)
I tried to do EFI, BIOS has support however couldn't find a way to force it on install and be able to mount efivarfs.
Thanks
