I tried to use blender today and got error as below:
blender: error while loading shared libraries: libOpenImageIO.so.1.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
How can I solve the problem? Using Arch 64 bit with testing repo included. System is up to date.

Do you build Blender yourself (from the AUR) or just the standard [community] install? It sounds as if you need to rebuild Blender as openimageio 1.4 is in [community-testing], but the [community] blender package is needing openimageio 1.3.
If you're going to run testing, you need to understand how things like this can happen. If you look at the package dependencies for blender, it requires openimageio 1.3. So if you run testing repos, you're gonna have to rebuild things from time to time.

Make sure to file a bug report. The blender package should have been rebuilt and put in [community-testing] at the time openimageio was updated.

My blender is a standard install from community repos, I will try to rebuild blender with openimageio 1.4.

The maintainer must have seen this thread, it's just been rebuilt.

This time libHalf.so is a problem... I hope maintainer will rebuild blender ASAP.

Looks like it was missed when moving the openexr rebuilds to testing, it's still suck in staging. As I said before, bug report.

bug is opened already
I suggest temporarily to disable testing repo in /etc/pacman.conf and do pacman -Syy and after that pacman -Suu for those who are standing in face with the same issue. It's working for me.

Bug is not open. All I see is someone who posted it in a totally unrelated bug report.
