Disable integrated video card - or some other way to use ONLY catalyst

Hi,

I have laptop (HP ProBook) with switchable graphics - intel and AMD. I use pxp from catalyst repository, but it's almost never working with ATI (Intel's fine). I remember from my desktop PC, that "normal" catalyst driver was definitely a more stable thing.

I see on wiki that there's still no good way (I think?) to change between intel and radeon open-source drivers - so it could be stable and optimal.

I'd like to use only catalyst/radeon (so I have working fine desktop with 3D abilities) or an option to switch between intel/radeon without much hassle and problems. My ProBook doesn't have an BIOS option to disable intel (only radeon), so I can't "just" disable intel.

Is there some good way?
