Power management problem

I've mostly finished configuring my first Arch installation, however I can't get around a problem with the power management.

When I try to open "Power Management" in system settings the window just closes. Additionally there is no power applet in the panel. upower service is running.

I am using Cinnamon.

Re: Power management problem

Hello abstracted, welcome to Arch smile
Have you installed gnome-power-manager? I think this is what cinnamon uses...

Re: Power management problem

What if you run it from the terminal?

It's currently broken because upstream won't update it for the upower change. I don't know what they're doing. Here is the relevant bug report: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/40193

Here's a working power applet that works in the meantime: https://github.com/robin92/cinnamon-power-applet

Claire is fine.
Problems? I have dysgraphia, so clear and concise please.
