I've been looking at how many packages I use still need wxgtk2.8, and then my plan was to take a look at development snapshots of those and see if they've been updated yet. However, on my first google search for one of them (xchm) - I found this: https://www.archlinux.org/todo/wxgtk-300-rebuild/
Looking at that list, to me with everything saying "complete", then it has been upgraded/rebuilt already in the Arch repos. This doesn't seem to be right though (the PKGBUILDs are still using wx2.8)
Can someone please clarify what I'm missing/not understanding here? Thanks!

That's because these packages don't work with wxgtk 3.0. Their wxgtk depends was changed to wxgtk2.8 to make them use the wxgtk2.8 package that was added in the repos. That's why it's marked complete. If they now work with wxgtk 3.0, open a bug report.

Ah, that makes more sense! Thanks, and I will do.
