Error message when trying to install Nvidia drivers - Made it worse.

pacman -S nvidia-lts
resolving dependencies...
looking for inter-conflicts...
:: nvidia-libgl and mesa-libgl are in conflict (libgl). Remove mesa-libgl? [y/N] y
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: nouveau-dri: requires mesa-libgl

Using an Nvidia GeForce 210 card. I had this same error in Antergos. I think I tried to uninstall nouveau and couldnt get the nvidia driver installed after, so I didnt want to break this system. Any other info needed? I didnt see this error in the troubleshooting section of the install walk-through in the wiki.

Think I figured it out. Remove nouveau and dependencies as well as mesa. Install is chugging along now. Hopefully I dont break it again.

Installation of the nvidia driver worked fine. On reboot, SLiM fails and I am sent to a terminal login prompt, but can't type anything. What went wrong?

Can you switch to another terminal with Alt-Ctrl-F2? Please check the logs and systemd's journal.

Did you install nvidia or nvidia-lts?
