I have an Acer Aspire 7551G with an AMD Radeon HD 6470M GPU. The open source drivers work alright, but the proprietary seem to work much smoother. I have one issue though, there is a constant stream of horizontal black lines that stream across the screen. I have installed the driver successfully several times over the past year, and this problem continues to occur. I also enabled tear free mode, which did not help.
