I have setup systemd to use wpa_supplicant instead of NetworkManager. This works fine under XFCE.
However, whenever I start Skype, NetworkManager is started as well and starts fighting with wpa_supplicant for setting up my wifi connection, which ends up unusable.
Why on earth and how is Skype related to NetworkManager?
How can I prevent it from wreaking havoc with my wifi?
