[Solved] xf86-video-Intel-2.99.912-1 breaks xorg

After the update yesterday of the this driver my xorg does not start anymore.
I reverted to xf86-video-Intel-2.99.911-2 and the problem went away.
Can someone please shed some light on this.
Below is the output of Xorg.0.log.

What is your hardware?
You seem to be using the "UXA" acceleration method, have you tried it with "SNA"?

I can confirm that running with "SNA" acceleration solves the problem.
The reason I was still running with "UXA" was tearing of the display but apparantly this is now solved.
Thank you for your help.

I will mark the thread as solved.

See the wiki article on intel for help with tearing.
