How can I permanently disable my touchpad/digitalizer to improve battery life? I know from previous experiences that disabling this peripheral improves the battery life significantly. Please note that I want to disable the hardware, not just stopping the input from being interpreted.
I am using a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga S240 and the touchscreen just worked out of the box.
