Don't Sleep on Lid Close if on AC Power

I'd like to configure my laptop to not sleep when the lid is closed if it is plugged in to AC power (but still sleep on lid close when running on battery). Is this configuration possible? How would I go about setting it up?

I had exactly the same question and was looking for a DE-independent, pure systemd solution.

Re: Don't Sleep on Lid Close if on AC Power

Realising that this could actually make a nice script, I created a small package aclidswitch:

Take a look at the readme how to configure it:

Let me know if you face any issues!
