[solved]graphic problem with lxde-panel!

hello,

im not sure if thats the right section, as i dont know the origin of my problem. my lxde-panel has a graphic bug directly under the start menu  (a black column under the start menu and the desktop-pager), which disappears when i move my mouse over it. it comes back after a few seconds. additionally, sometimes when starting an application, bigger parts of the panel become screwed up. is it a known bug or could it depend on my graphic configuration?
(a black column under the start menu and the desktop-pager)

thanks lizzy

Re: [solved]graphic problem with lxde-panel!

Could you please make a screenshot? Does it look similar to this screenshot (see https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=182699)? Or what about https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=183139?

And: which intel graphics do you use? Which versions of packages? Did this bug exist since ever or did it appear recently after an update?

Doesnt resemble your posts, here is the screenshot:

graphic bug

Well, seems like it is not. Do i have to upload it before? The bug existed since i installed lxde. I installed inte-dri and xf86-video-intel. Sorry for my newbie question, but what exactly do you wanna know? Maybe this:

Re: [solved]graphic problem with lxde-panel!

Try setting acceleration method to uxa or glamor, reboot and see if anything changes

Re: [solved]graphic problem with lxde-panel!

you could also try downgrading to xf86-video-intel-2.99.911-2, and keep the sna acceleration (which should be a lot faster than uxa) if that works for you.
apparently there's been quite a lot of issues with the latest xf86-video-intel-2.99-912 drivers. although sna acceleration has been notorious for rendering issues for a long time, so the problem might persist with older versions as well.
