Reltek 8188e Terrible Reception

I have a Toshiba C75D-A and on Windows speeds are atleast 500kilobytes, though my internet is 3000kilo at max. The drivers on linux for this card sucks, or maybe this wireless card just sucks.
Everyone has problems with it. I keep disconnecting and not getting the speed I want. On my other devices like my phone and tablet get max 3000 kilobytes.

Has anyone experienced this and knows a way to work around it?
If not please recommend me a wireless usb adapter.
