My installation USB is hanging up on "triggering uevents" I have a new Nvida graphics card and I read here...
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=151259
that I have to use the "nomodeset" option as boot parameter. How do I do this? Some posts said that I have to hit tab while on the boot menu to bring up the options menu but this does not work. The links on that thread point to wiki posts that don't explain how to do this on USB installation media. Do I edit a file on the USB installation media? This is my first time seeing an issue like this on an Arch install, all of my other installations have gone smoothly so I've never had to set specific kernel options.
Random true facts...
It is NOT my installation media, I tested this USB on my laptop and arch boots up fine, no hangups.
It is NOT my the USB port on my computer, my Linux Mint installation USB works fine.
I'm guessing a driver issue, my card is an Nvidia 750 Ti which is a fairly new graphics card.

To be a bit more specific:
[Press] e over the entry that you are trying to boot (i686 or x86_64). At the end of the string type nomodeset and press Enter.
This is in the GRUB boot menu, i.e. the menu you see when you boot the live medium, after your BIOS has done its thing.

Thank you both. That worked!
