Dota 2 just shows black screen

Hi,

I have been trying to fix this, and I can't. So I really like dota 2 and normally play it on my gaming tower but I will be on the road more so I want it on my laptop as well. This laptop only has Arch Linux but this should work because dota has linux native.

Ok now, my laptop is a Thinkpad x240. I simply get a black screen if I sturt the game but I can kill it with 'xkill'.

I have the xf86-video-intel and lib32-intel-dri installed.

I should have everything installed, happy to answer questions.

Hi,
I am having the same issue. Running Arch on a Thinkpad T530 with bumblebee.
If I run steam on my internal card, Dota2 and all other games work fine.
If i run steam on my external card with "optirun steam" , the screen flickers for a moment and the game is closed after a second.
