Touchpad doesn't work after update

Hi.

The touchpad stopped working after an update.

When I push Fn + F1 an indicator of touchpad activity is displayed on the screen, but nothing happens.

How can I restore the touchpad functionality?

What packages were actually updated in your last update?

If you're not sure, have a look at the /var/log/pacman.log file.
