Yenta cardbus message during boot

On a Samsung Q35 laptop in recent weeks (I think since kernel 3.15) I have had the following message come up at boot time, and is in the systemd journal:

Jul 08 17:18:57 samsung1 kernel: yenta_cardbus 0000:05:09.0: no bus associated! (try 'pci=assign-busses')

I have googled for this message but nothing recent comes up.  The system boots and seems to work OK but presumably this message implies that something I have not yet tried whilst the system is running may not work.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?
