Hi there!
After upgrading jre7-openjdk and jre7-openjdk-headles to version 7.u60_2.5.0-3 is seems like fonts AA doesn't work any more.
I downgraded the packages from ARM to 7.u60_2.5.0-2 and it works as expected now.
Is it a bug or feature? ![]()

If you want state-of-the-art font rendering in openjdk, use bohoomil's font packages (freetype, cairo, fontconfig), and the openjdk font patch (screenshots). This should be far more popular.

Edit: Sounds like fontfix.diff is no longer needed. Excellent news ![]()
Although infinality should be turned *on* ![]()

Actually I do like how fonts look like with previous version ![]()
Although infinality should be turned *on*
Does it mean that there's only one way to rebuild the package from abs with --enable-infinality=yes?

It's the default anyway, in icedtea 2.5.0:
$ grep enable-infinality configure
--enable-infinality build with fontconfig font rendering [default=yes]Last edited by brebs (2014-07-10 11:40:52)

Thanks a lot.
I'm marking this post as resolved.
