So today I decided to erase the windows and just leave the linux!
The linux was installed in sda3 partition to / root and / home on sda4.
But I want to join the sda4 with most vacuum sda1.
I know how to do this you need the partition to be side by side ...
So I did with the command dd copy to partition tou linux sda3 sto sda1 with same space ...
I did it and bootable ...Now starts with livecd I do mount to / sda1 on / mnt and sda4 in / mnt / home arch-chroot and I'm going to re install the grub ... The grub tells me error more than one install After many efforts mattered and fstab lest anything done Settings ... ie sda1 with the uuid but nothing ... What I do in this case; How do you start the grub to sda1??
sorry bad eglish...

i had a similar issue when installing.
when i insert the install medium, pre-boot, it was mounted as /dev/sda
the solution was to boot the computer with out the install medium and enter the bios. then i inserted the installer (usb) and exited the bios. after that, no reboot, i was able to boot from usb and it was mounted as /dev/sdb
hope that helps!

The disk is internal and is everywhere as the sda. Let me ask you ... I think the mandate dd not replicating premisions properly ... Is there a Another to copying premisions?
