[SOLVED] RAID scrubbing does not work?

Prelude: Up to date Arch server with a raid 1 array, works well since a couple of years.

Well, I don't know since when does it happen, as I'm checking it every 3 months, but echoing:

"check" to /sys/block/mdwhatever/md/sync_action does not seem to work anymore for me (the file content stays "idle").

Yes, I'm trying as root.

Permissions on the file are: (ls -la output)

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4096 júl   19 12.37 /sys/block/md127/md/sync_action.

Does anyone know, what happens, and why?

[EDIT] Got it. One of the raided partitions was kicked.
