Hi, I have a problem with my arch os on qemu : there is a black line (near 100 pixels high) on the bottom of the virtual screen, and when i put the cursor on the bottom the screen slide (I don't see the top part of the virtual screen). I use "-vga qxl" option, and I use dwm on both the guest and the host.
Have you any ideas from where this problem could come from?
Thanks for reading, and sorry for my English, I hope you understood what I said...

Hi, welcome to Arch. Have you tried other options, like -vga std or -vga vmware too?
Personnaly, I have good results with -vga vmware when running Arch.

Thanks for your advice, I tried with -vga vmware, I had the same problem, but this time I had a small resolution when X11 wasn't launched yet (I launch it manually). With -vga qxl I have the black line problem only in X11.
I then realised I forgot to install vmware drivers : after I installed it, I had a small resolution in X, the same as in my terminal, and there was a problem with my mouse, the cursor was moving realy fast and "looping" through the border of the screen (I don't know if you see what I mean, once again sorry for my bad English...)

Well, you can set the resolution yourself, check 'xrandr'.
Did you set the mouse to -usbdevice tablet or -usbdevice mouse?, otherwise try the latter former. There is some kind of solution https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/QE … or_erratic, which don't work good enough for me, but might work for you.
Btw. nothing wrong with your English
edit;it was late

Thanks, it worked perfectly with -vga vmware and -usbdevice tablet! (I didn't even know the -usbdevice option ^^ )
