Here's the entire dmesg output
I haven't been able to find any recent information on the error so I'm not sure what to make of it. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, Is there any way I can check if it's a hardware or software issue?

Downgrade kernel and check if problem persists, check if hdd is properly connect, check cables, use hdd's manufacturer's tools to check disk.

Hi, there's a bug report about this. Seems some few people with Marvell controllers experience this boot message.
I went through my journal and found the messages started with the first 3.15 kernel, which had some libata changes.
