DVD-rom don't found

Hallo all
After fresh install of last ArchLinux I can't read my DVD. I read some posts on this forum but still nothing. Please can anybody help me? I have a notebook HP EliteBook 2540p. In dev directory I haven't any sr0 or sg0 device. May bee is wrong my kernel but i recompile it with config file from my gentoo where the DVD work. Sorry for my English I'm not so good on it.

Does it work with the stock Arch kernel?

No. I used x86_64 linux from core and testing repository and testing with gentoo config.
