Problem with compiling evince (git version)

I've been trying to compile the evince git version but failed so far. I downloaded its github repository and tried  to execute the autogen.sh file. I installed the gnome-common, gtk-doc and yelp-tools that it depends on. But now it gives this error:

configure: error: Package requirements (libxml-2.0 >= 2.5.0 gtk+-3.0 >= 3.12.0 gio-2.0 >= 2.36.0 gmodule-no-export-2.0 >= 2.36.0 gthread-2.0 adwaita-icon-theme >= 2.17.1) were not met:

No package 'adwaita-icon-theme' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

I have set PKG_CONFIG_PATH to /usr/lib/pkgconfig which includes the *.pc files and when i execute for example pkg-config --modversion libxml-2.0 I get 2.9.1

Re: Problem with compiling evince (git version)

Any reason you're not using evince-git from the AUR?

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan

Re: Problem with compiling evince (git version)

I installed the adwaita-icon-theme and the other error strangely disappeared. Anyway, problem solved smile
