Aloha all!
I have Win7 installed on a 200GB MBR drive and I am trying to install Arch on a 3TB GPT drive. I have also tried to install Fedora, which won't even let me past the drive partitioning section of install. As stated in the subject, I have Win7 on a 200GB MBR drive and I am trying to install Arch on a 3TB GPT drive. I used this guide and The Beginners Guide to do the install. When I reboot, grub fails to grub rescue and throws device does not exist. I have tried Rescatux and it executes successfully, but grub still fails. Any help or just point me to right howto would be greatly appreciated.
Mahalo for your time!

Can you post your /etc/default/grub and the output of
lsblk
Maybe the devices are enumerated differently when not booting from the Arch installation image.
You can try to edit the line in grub (press e in the menu) and change from /dev/sdX# to /dev/sdY# on the linux line. If that makes it work, consider using UUID instead of device name.
