Hi,
I observed a new problem with firefox who fails to download gpx files which are text files. It happens when I do that on site, strava.com, who is a site for cyclists and runner share tracks which have a gpx extension. I sincerely don't understand and don't know what to do. I'm just running chromium in order to download this file but it's a bit annoying because chromium has another problem (keyboards layout is modified in chromium so that in can't write everything !)

Do you have an example page where this happens, or do we have to have an account there to see it? I just explored the site breifly, but I couldn't find anything that looked like a download link.
You can run firefox from a terminal and see what output it gives when you try to download the link.
Also, how do you try to download it? Just click? Or right click and "save target as..."?

OK, it seems that the problem is solved. The download directory was "~/Téléchargement" (french for Download). It seems that it failed somehow because of the accentuated characters. I changed it to "~/Download". It seems quite strange! They do configure directory with accentuated character when running archlinux in French.
